Even severe winter cold and snow, rather unusual for the British climate at this time of the year, couldn’t prevent our children and their parents from attending the traditional St. Nicolas’s Day celebrations organised in Gateshead.
At 10.30 in the morning the room in Gateshead Leisure Centre was already fully crowded. Our little kids danced and played together accompanied by DJ Derek and Snow White named Beata. The party was attended by both Polish and English children, however, the language barrier didn’t seem to exist. As you can see in the photos below, all our kids had a lot of fun playing together.
