Santa Claus is coming to town!
If anywhere in Gateshead one could hear a loud chant on Saturday afternoon, then it must have been the children gathered at the St Nicholas’s Day celebration who were impatiently waiting for the Santa Claus to arrive with presents.

Santa Claus heard the calling and eventually arrived carrying big sack full of presents. Everyone got a gift and could have a memorable photo taken with a Santa Claus. Afterwards all kids got down to unwrapping their presents.
Finally, everyone was invited to participate in a lottery and the lucky winners got awarded with prizes. Below we present some photos from this event:

Every child (61 children) will get a free photo with a Santa Claus, which can be collected at Malgosia Polish Shop in Newcastle from Monday 13th December). Those parents who are interested in getting more photos, can place an order on the website – click here. The website contains all photos from the event so everybody can make their own choice.  To get the password and view the photos, please send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. We would also like to thank all the people who participated in the organization of this event in Gateshead – Agnieszka Piecuch (organiser), Marlena Webber & Tomasz Debski (co-organisers) Angelika Klecha-Szott (co-organiser, designer of posters, invitations and decorations), Tomasz Szott (photographer), Beata Brzezianska (host), Agnieszka Czekajlo, Agata Giolczynska, Rachel Clements (support group), Grzegorz Szastak (logistics), Patryk Lis (filming), and David Davies (Santa Claus).

We also thank all kids, their parents and carers for all you help and support during the celebrations. Santa Clause would have been very lonely without all of you there. We hope everyone had a great time and we look forward to see you all again next year. If you wish to contact any of the organizers, please send us an email.  click here

We are very grateful to all the sponsors as well. Thanks to their generosity, all children could attend the party free of charge.  Our special thanks go to Mrs. Ela Slebzak from Polish Matters Consulting who was the main sponsor of the event.
