For the first time in history the Polish football team have qualified for the European Championships. The Poles beat Belgium 2:0 with 2 goals scored by Euzebiusz Smolarek and therefore guaranteed themselves a place in the tournament.
The number of Polish football fans gathered at The Globe Pub to watch the match live exceeded our expectations. There was a fantastic atmosphere from start to finish and afterwards, Polish fans went onto the Millennium Bridge where they burnt the white and red flares to celebrate this historic achievement. Here are the first photos from this incredible night!
