From Poland with Love. For Great Britain

'From Poland with Love. For Great Britain' is a short video about Poland and Poles, made specifically for the British. In a little over three and a half minutes, the clip outlines some of the Polish peoples' crucial achievements.

Featuring the hussars, the Solidarity movement, John Paul II, and various Polish athletes, the video also covers Ignacy Łukasiewicz, the first complete face transplant operation, as well as the dynamic development of women-owned businesses in Poland. And all served up as a music video. The clip, designed to promote Polish achievements, is the creation of a group of Internet users who attracted the attention and support of PKN ORLEN. “We liked the idea of conveying important information about Poland in a slightly 'lighter' format, and short viral videos are a natural form of communication in today's world. PKN ORLEN has been consistently supporting such initiatives for many years,” commented Leszek Kurnicki, Executive Director for Marketing at PKN ORLEN.

Although the clip is addressed to the British, its creators are counting on the Polish community, including our compatriots living in the United Kingdom, to share the video with their foreign friends − not only the British ones. A fan page has also been launched on Facebook under the same name to promote the initiative. Visitors are encouraged to forward the clip to their friends in Great Britain.

The short movie was created in collaboration with Studio Filmowe Czarny Słoń, a film studio specialising in 'historic marketing', under the patronage of londynek.net, the most popular Polish website in Great Britain.
